What a museum, if its got wheels it's in here. An impeccable collection of vehicles. For anyone who has an interest in bikes and cars you must visit. Had a nice chat with a curator called steve who pointed out a few things that took my interest, a very knowledgeable man. The Donald Campbell bluebird collection was astonishing. £12 entry fee is a snip for what is in the collection.

Best thing I visited in the Lake District. Loved it. So interesting and fun. Wish we could've sat in the cars and got photos but I appreciate the damage that would cause. Perhaps a vehicle or two that is used for photos could be an idea for the future.

Been to the museum today. Lots to look at nicely set out with arrows on the floor to tell you which way around to go. You are able to go out for coffee in the cafe and come back. We went for coffee and cake in the cafe on site. Very clean and staff were very helpful. We went over to the bluebird exhibition Which was also interesting. Large area to park for free. It is well worth a visit even if motors are not for you.
